Beaver Mines - Pre-Qualified Contractors
Contractors shall refer to this web page for information on becoming pre-qualified contractors.
The MD of Pincher Creek (MD) has agreed to review basic qualifications of Contractors for the Beaver Mines Lot Servicing work required on private property. This process is intended to assist property owners whom do not have the resources or relationships with contractors in the area.
Owners maintain full responsibility (including costs, liability, and warranty work) for Private Water Lines and Private Drainage Lines per the Utility Bylaw (See Schedule A Section (6)) and the associated Utility Services Guidelines. Those documents can be found here along with a Homeowner Connection Guide.
The intent of this process is to list contractors whom have read and understood the guidelines and list their qualifications related to completing work on private property. Owners can hire whom they choose to do work on private property, with connection dependent on meeting permitting and inspection requirements.
Owners maintain responsibility to ensure the work undertaken on their property is completed by qualified workers with appropriate certifications. The MD has not checked Contractors insurance, WCB, and financial stability. These responsibilities also lie with property owners
