Assessment

The MD’s property assessments are done by Doug Jensen Assessment Services. The assessor has an office at the Administration Building and is available throughout the year.

Property owners have 60 days from the mailing of the Combined Assessment and Tax Notice to file a complaint regarding their assessed values. A complaint form can be found at the Administration building or by clicking here, if you have hired an agent to prepare your complaint click here. Additional information on filing a complaint and preparing for a hearing can be found here. To withdrawal your complaint use the form found here.
