Community Peace Officer I

The Municipal District of Pincher Creek is hiring a
Community Peace Officer I for a
full-time permanent position to support our growing community.
Key Responsibilities:

Enforce municipal bylaws, the Traffic Safety Act, and select provincial statutes.

Conduct patrols and respond to complaints, issuing penalties and preparing court files.
-
Engage with the public to promote compliance through education and awareness programs.
-
Collaborate with the RCMP and other enforcement agencies on investigations.
-
Prepare reports, court briefs, and provide testimony in legal proceedings.

Respond to animal control calls and assist with emergency services as needed.
