Did you know that when you push snow across the road, it may create problems for operators and puts all drivers at risk. This is the practice of pushing snow from driveways across the MD road. This practice can result in large ridges of snow left on the roadway. Once these ridges start to melt and then refreeze, it can pose a danger. Ridges can throw a car out of control, and cause damage to vehicles as well as interfering with our standard grading practices.

We would ask for cooperation to please help us protect yourself, neighbors, road users, MD equipment and operators, and refrain from pushing your snow across the MD roads.
