The budget process involves deciding how to spend taxpayers' dollars responsibly and efficiently. The 2024 budget determines the Municipality's actions, projects, and initiatives over the next year, such as road maintenance, capital projects, agricultural programs, and more.

The 2024 draft Operating and Capital budgets were presented to Council on November 14, 16, 21, 28, and December 7.

During these meetings, administration delivered the draft documents. Council members discussed their inquiries and provided feedback on proposed items within the draft, which were then brought back to subsequent meetings for further review.

With this feedback, administration presented an updated draft for Council to review on December 12 during the Council meeting. Council approved this budget, which is now available HERE.
