Regarding private driveways, the Municipality will only assist with non-emergency snow removal for individuals once all priority roads are cleared. Our Municipal roads will take precedence.

Before the MD enters private property, residents must complete a driveway snow removal form and a driveway inspection. The driveway inspection must be fulfilled before the snow is on the ground so the operator can notice any property damage hazards. Please note this form is NOT a request for snow removal. It is only an agreement, and hold harmless, to use this service. Residents will still need to call in to request snow removal, understanding that driveways are a lower priority. They will then be billed each time the service is used. Please note that the MD does not have equipment for removing snow on smaller driveways (hamlets).
