Alberta Agriculture & Forestry Water Pumping Program

The Water Pumping Program is a service intended to assist producers in obtaining water for domestic, livestock, or agricultural purposes.

Both six and eight inch diameter aluminum irrigation pipe and both 540 and 1000 PTO drive pumps are available for rent by producers.

First mile length of pipe and one PTO pump rental fee is $500 per day (first day is considered 48 hrs to allow for initial system setup)

Each additional mile length of pipe is $150 per day and each additional PTO pump is $100 per day

Program staff recommend producers plan for a 5 person crew to set up their equipment for transferring water where they need it
Water Pumping Program Staff includes Randy Dekens (Supervisor), Ken Milos, and Scott Wishart, who are based out of Lethbridge.
