All drivers should be especially vigilant and careful to watch for hazards. Please slow down, exercise caution, and be aware of multiple blind spots in the equipment. You might not be seen by the driver, who is focused on hazards ahead.
For our MD operators, rural roads are their work locations, but they also need to turn on and off the highway to reach their destinations.
It's legal to drive farm machinery on public roads and often the only way farmers can get from field to field. But the mix of slow-travelling equipment and speedier cars poses hazards for all involved.
