NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MD of Pincher Creek No. 9
IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
PROPOSED BYLAW No. 1369-26
To be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 3:00 pm
MD of Pincher Creek Municipal Administration Office

PURSUANT to Sections 606, and 692 of the
Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, 2000, revised statutes, the Council of the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 in the Province of Alberta hereby gives notice of its intention to consider Bylaw No. 1370-26, being an amendment to Bylaw No. 1349-23, being the Land Use Bylaw.
WHEREAS Section 640 of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended, provides that a municipality must pass a Land Use Bylaw; and
WHEREAS The purpose of the proposed amendment is to define dugouts and reservoirs within the agriculturally oriented districts in the Land Use Bylaw.
THEREFORE TAKE NOTICE THAT a public hearing to consider the proposed Bylaw No. 1369-26 will be held in the Council Chambers of the Administration Building of the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9, located at 1037 Herron Avenue, Pincher Creek, AB on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at 3:00 pm.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed bylaw should, in writing, notify the Chief Administrative Officer of their intention prior to 4:00 p.m., on Thursday April 9, 2026.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT both written and verbal presentations may be made to Council at the public hearing.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT copies of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 Office (1037 Herron Avenue) during normal business hours, or online
