Employment Opportunity - Pesticide Applicator

Are you a post-secondary student studying agriculture, animal science, soil science, or biology?
Do you enjoy working outdoors and thrive in physically active roles?

If so, we have the perfect summer job for you!

We are hiring for Pesticide Applicators for the 2026 Season.

• May 4, 2026, to October 16, 2026 (AES24)
• May 4, 2026, to August 21, 2026 (AES16)

These positions are well suited to those who are independent and resourceful, thrive on working outdoors, and are suitable to high levels of physical activity and stamina.

Requirements:

• These positions require a valid Class 5 Drivers License and a current Driver’s abstract.
• Each position requires you to hold or willing to obtain an Authorized Assistant Pesticide License.

Preference may be given to applicants who have a Pesticide Applicator Certificate.

Duties will include

• Pest and weed identification
• Herbicide application and manual weed removal
• Boulevard, park and playground, green space maintenance, and operating small-motorized equipment.

The competition will close at 4:30 p.m. MST, Friday, February 20, 2026.
