NOTICE OF ELECTION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR VOTER IDENTIFICATION
Local Authorities Election Act

LIVINGSTONE RANGE SCHOOL DIVISION

Notice is hereby given that an election will be held for the filling of the following offices:
SCHOOL TRUSTEE WARD NO. 2 TWO (2) VACANCIES
Voting will take place on the 20th day of October 2025, between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm.
School Trustee elections are run by the municipal authorities within the boundaries of Livingstone Range School Division. Electors may only vote at a voting station set up for the ward in which that elector resides. Electors for school trustee are to vote at the same polling station where they vote for their respective municipal candidates. If there is not a municipal election in the area that the elector resides, they may then vote for their school trustee at another polling station within their ward. If you are unsure which ward you reside in, you can receive clarification by contacting the office of the returning officer at 403-625-3356.
For electors within Ward No. 2, voting stations run by the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass, the M.D. of Pincher Creek and the Village of Cowley will be located at:

Senior Drop-In Centre, 7801 18th Avenue in Coleman

Crowsnest Community Hall, 2025 129th Street in Blairmore

MDM Community Centre, 2802 222nd Street in Bellevue

Lundbreck Community Hall, 302 1st Street in Lundbreck

Cowley Community Hall, 216 6th Street in Cowley
ADVANCE POLLS for electors of Livingstone Range School Division will be held as described and advertised by the Municipal Authorities within the boundaries of Livingstone Range School Division.
ADVANCE POLLS:

MD of Pincher Creek – October 15, 2025 – 10 am to 4 pm – MD of PC Admin Office, 1037 Herron Ave. Pincher Creek.

Municipality of Crowsnest Pass– October 14, 2025 – 10 am to 8 pm – Crowsnest Community Hall, 2025 129th St. Blairmore.
Again, electors voting at an advance poll may only vote at a voting station set up for the ward in which that elector resides.
In order to vote, you must produce for inspection one or more of the acceptable forms of identification required by section 53 of the Local Authorities Election Act.
