2025 Pincher Creek & District Hometown Award

The Pincher Creek & District Hometown Award Committee, a group of dedicated individuals including one MD of Pincher Creek Councillor, one Town of Pincher Creek Councillor, and two community members at large, is entrusted with the significant task of selecting three students from our community to receive this prestigious award.

This is a significant milestone as it marks the first year the Council has offered this award, and the decision was not easy. We take pride in the community's support and recognition of all applicants' valuable contributions through this award, and thank all who applied for their part in this process.

In 2025, the Council honoured three students: Bella M from St. Michael's School, Grady M from Matthew Halton High School, and Paige R from Livingstone School, for their exceptional dedication to their community. This recognition is a testament to their significant impact within the community. They were selected based on specific criteria for community involvement, including volunteer work, leadership roles, and participation in community events. We encourage all students to consider these criteria when applying for the award.
