Due to the forcasted and continued dry conditions and lack of percipitation a Fire Restriction is now in effect for the Town of Pincher Creek, MD of Pincher Creek and the Piikiani First Nation.

Under the Restriction all burn permits/Notification to Burn are now cancelled and no new permits/Notifications to Burn will be issued. Fire pit permits are still active.

We ask people to take extra caution when using fire outdoors as the ground cover is very dry. We also remind residents that FireWorks are prohibited within the Town of Pincher Creek and the -MD of Pincher Creek.

Under this Fire Restriction

Permited Approved fire pits, propane BBQ's, Pellet Smokers, and propane powered appliances are still approved for use.

All debris burns, FireWorks and non permitted fires are not allowed under this restriction.
