Following the regular meeting of October 24, 2023, the MD Council held its Organizational Meeting. The Organizational Meeting takes place annually and allows for Council to elect a Reeve and Deputy Reeve and choose the various committees they would like to be a part of for the year.

Please join us in congratulating newly elected Reeve Dave Cox, Councillor of Division 3, and new Deputy Reeve John MacGarva, Councillor for Division 5.

We would also like to thank outgoing Reeve Rick Lemire, Division 2, and Deputy Reeve Tony Bruder, Division 1, for their time and dedication in those roles. Both remain on Council and look forward to continuing working together with all of Council to tackle the challenges facing the MD and community into the following year.
