BF â€“ 7743 Bridge Closure Update: Range Road 21A over Gladstone Creek

It is now anticipated that multiple brief closures (less than 30 minutes) will occur over the course of about 1 week. Construction work will also limit traffic to one (1) lane at time for extended periods while the bridge is open.

It is currently expected the lumber for decking will be received between February 6^th-15^th, 2023, at which point construction will begin, and intermittent closures will take place during construction hours.

The bridge is located at LSD SW-23-005-02 W5M, with original construction completed in 1908. A 2021 inspection confirmed the bridge is in disrepair and requires major rehabilitation to continue servicing the area safely; replacement of the stripdeck, subdeck, stringer, and guardrails.

Advance notification of construction will be posted at the main intersections bringing traffic toward the bridge.

The MD of Pincher Creek is informing you of this closure in advance as our records indicate that you may be affected by this bridge work and we invite you to discuss any concerns before they arise.
