Today for #InvasiveSpeciesWeek we honour a local Community Champion - Alan Jacklin - who dedicated his over three decade career to prevention and management of #invasivespecies in southwest Alberta. Alan served the MD of Pincher Creek's Agricultural Service Board from 1980 - 2011, known for his friendly "cooperative team approach" with area citizens on invasive weed issues, stressing education & partnerships with neighboring jurisdictions. Thank you, Alan Jacklin - a true Community Champion and Weed Warrior!
