Dear Community Members
This is Volunteer Appreciation week across our province, a moment in time when we have traditionally honored the many volunteers in our community for their great efforts. The Town and the Municipal District over a number of years have co-sponsored a Special Recognition Luncheon as a token of our appreciation and esteem for our volunteers. Unfortunately, we will not be able to do that this year in the interests of public health and safety. I hope along with everyone else in our community that soon we can resume operations that are more normal.
To our Volunteers, please be reassured that present circumstances in no way lessen our respect and appreciation for what it is that you do in making our community a better place. In fact, volunteer efforts made safely for everyone are more important now than ever. Your continued efforts have and will continue to add to the quality of life of our community.
Thank you again, please know that the giving of your time and talent for the benefit of others is much appreciated.
