Bridge Rehabilitation work on Spread Eagle Road over Yarrow Creek

Bridge rehabilitation work on Spread Eagle Road over Yarrow Creek (BF70175), located west of Twin Butte, is scheduled to begin on August 18, 2025, and is expected to continue until September 5, 2025.

This project is necessary due to the deteriorating condition of the bridge’s structural supports. To protect species at risk in the area, construction will take place within a specific time window.

This project will involve bridge structure rehabilitation work, including repair to bridge piles and timber sub structure on West and East end. Minor bridge deck and lattice repair work. Repair and protection of the West headslope.

The single-lane bridge will remain open to traffic for most of the construction period. However, brief closures of up to one hour may be required during critical phases of the work.
