Pincher Creek

 

A Fire Restriction is now in effect for the following

- Town of Pincher Creek

-Village of Cowley

-Piikani First Nations

-Municipal District of Pincher Creek

 

The continued warm dry conditions and very little snow or rain over the last few months have created a unusually dry spring. While green up has taken place there is still significant risk of fire from standing dead material. Please use caution with fire and off highway vehicles.

 

This Restriction will remain in effect until conditions change. Under this advisory, Fire Pit permits stay active and are still being issued, but debris burn permits will no longer be issued.
