Notice: Road Closure *updated April 24, 2024

At the April 23, 2024 meeting, Council was updated on the Southfork Road Project. At that meeting, Council made the following resolution:

Council direct administration to cease the current construction on the Southfork Hill (Twp. Rd. 7-0),
that due to recent additional slides in the area, administration be directed to proceed with investigating the scope and cost of a comprehensive geotechnical study of the area prior to proceeding with any further work on the Southfork Hill (Twp. Rd. 7-0),
and finally that, due to safety concerns, the road remains closed to public travel until further notice.

Access to the Castle Valley Campground will be accessible from Cowley only during this time.
