Fire Advisory Notice

The warm, dry, windy weather has brought us back to a fire hazard. Wind-driven fires will grow quickly in dry fuel load we now have. Please use caution in all operations. If you have a fire call 911 quickly.

Please visit for more information.

An Update from Agriculture and Forestry – 07 December 2017:

“Above average temperatures, winds and low relative humidity are expected throughout Southern Alberta the next few days. Winds and above seasonal temperatures will continue during the evening and night giving no recovering to fine fuels. These winds and warm temperatures can cause extreme Fire Behaviour and allow fires to grow rapidly.”
