Crowsnest/Pincher Creek Landfill Association Update for Ratepayers
Important changes at the Landfill for MD Ratepayers Effective August 01, 2020
Administration presented a study based on past billing practices and usage for the landfill by ratepayers. As a result of this discussion and aligning the processes to those observed by other Municipalities, Council made the following changes to landfill usage costs for MD ratepayers:
All Residential and Farmland loads less than 2 tonnes be invoiced directly to the MD; and
Residential and Farmland loads in excess of 2 tonnes be invoiced directly to the ratepayer at the time of delivery (including the initial 2 tonnes)
Non-residential/Commercial loads are invoiced directly to the ratepayers at the time of delivery; and
That the MD Declaration Form no longer be used;
And these changes take effect on August 1, 2020.
